Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A. for any employer. Travel: Up to 25% domestic travel. Estimated Salary Range: $81,300 to $112,590

The Job Domestic HEA Grant Program Manager will build and sustain disaster response readiness across a national network of church partners by ensuring partners have the training, systems, operational processes, ongoing capacity support, and grant-compliant practices necessary to safely and effectively serve as disaster response hubs. Oversee implementation of the grant-funded initiative with primary accountability for grant compliance, monitoring, reporting, outcome tracking, and relationship management across church hubs and supporting partner networks. Ensure compliance with donor standards, develop tools and systems, support training refreshers and onboarding of new hub workers, and provide capacity building for the duration of the grant-funded project. This position is funded by the Lily Endowment Implementation project for a period of 3 years. Help carry out our Christian organization’s mission, vision, and strategies. Personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word and sign.

Responsibilities Will Include

◦ Support church partners in sustaining disaster response readiness by coordinating training, onboarding, practical capacity support, and ongoing engagement with church hubs and supporting partners. ◦ Ensure staff and partners understand program design, grant requirements, reporting expectations, compliance obligations, and roles and responsibilities needed for successful implementation. ◦ Manage timelines, deliverables, budgets, documentation, staffing/consulting needs, and project activities within the approved grant scope. ◦ Track tasks, milestones, partner engagement, monitoring data, outcomes, grant reporting, and documentation needed to demonstrate progress against grant requirements. ◦ Monitor partner readiness, program progress, compliance status, and outcomes; identify gaps or risks and coordinate practical solutions within the approved grant scope. ◦ Communicate outcomes of start-up to the donor or director.

◦ Maintain regular, positive, and productive communication with church hubs, supporting partners, donor representatives, internal teams, US Programs leadership, and other stakeholders regarding implementation progress, partner support needs, grant requirements, risks, issues, successes, and key updates. ◦ Prepare and submit high-quality reports and documentation that clearly capture progress, outcomes, compliance status, hub readiness, risks, corrective actions, promising practices, and lessons learned. ◦ Monitor implementation, resource utilization, budget activity, partner readiness, compliance status, and progress against grant deliverables in coordination with Finance and program leadership. ◦ Assist church hubs and supporting partners in accessing technical assistance, safeguarding support, operational guidance, practical tools, and other resources needed for successful implementation of grant activities. ◦ Maintain complete grant files, support audit readiness, revise program documents as needed, coordinate or complete approved amendments, and ensure WV responds professionally to compliance issues, audit findings, evaluation recommendations, and required corrective actions.

You Bring These Skills

Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required, plus 3–5 years of relevant experience in program/project management, grant management or compliance, monitoring and reporting, disaster response or capacity development. Experience with faith-based, nonprofit, community, or relief and development partners preferred. Must demonstrate strong organizational, communication, relationship management, documentation, problem-solving, and coordination skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required.

Salary & Benefits WVUS Pay Grade Level: 225 Estimated hiring range is $81,300 to $112,590 The posted hiring salary range reflects pay for U.S. locations and is determined using market data and internal compensation guidelines. Actual compensation may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic location, job-related experience, and applicable laws.
