About this role

Position Summary:

UpSlope is seeking an IT System Analyst II to support DHS OHSS Report Automation Support Services. The position will support report-production modernization, data operations, automation, data quality, data accessibility, requirements development, technical analysis, workflow assessment, testing, documentation, and integration of reporting solutions into OHSS business processes.

Primary Responsibilities:

Support modernization of OHSS report-production processes and technologies.
Develop/support automated reporting and data-transformation workflows.
Support database development/querying, repositories, and data warehouses.
Use Python, Java, and SQL for automated reporting, data transformation, database development, and integration.
Develop Tableau dashboards, visualizations, and reporting products.
Support front-end websites and user-facing application interfaces.
Analyze reporting environments and identify automation/modernization opportunities.
Support statistical or analytical reporting processes.
Conduct requirements development, technical analysis, and workflow assessments.
Support data quality, validation, accessibility, and reporting consistency.
Perform system testing, validation, and QA.
Develop/maintain technical documentation and SOPs.
Coordinate with stakeholders to integrate reporting solutions into existing business processes.
Support user-friendly access to reports, data, and metadata.
Be available during 8:30 AM-5:00 PM ET, Monday-Friday.
Respond to Government requests for discussion/problem resolution within 24 hours.

Minimum Qualifications:

• IT-modernization experience.

• Data-driven reporting experience.

Statistical/analytical reporting experience.
Database/data-warehouse support experience.

• Technical-documentation experience.

• Hands-on Python experience.

• Hands-on Java experience.

• Hands-on SQL experience.

• Hands-on Tableau experience.

Front-end website technology experience.
Experience with automated reporting, data transformation, database development/querying, dashboards, visualization, or user-facing web interfaces.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
