Meetings Management Operations & Account Manager m/f/d (with Life Science expertise)

Permanent, full time, based in Germany (Düsseldorf, Frankfurt or remote in Germany)

About the role:

As Operations Manager, you will be fully dedicated to a client in Life Science industry. You’ll be the go-to person for keeping projects on track, clients happy, and your team thriving. You’ll mix big-picture strategy with hands-on problem solving—keeping service levels high while building relationships that last.

You will oversee operational functions while managing client relationships, ensuring service quality, stakeholder engagement, and account growth and drive financial performance.

As Operations Manager, you will:

Team Leadership:

• Manage and develop direct reports in Germany to enhance productivity through effective recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.

Client Management:

• Oversee client communication, follow-ups, and deliverables to maintain strong relationships and ensure satisfaction and financial success.

Business Development:

• Foster account growth through strategic outreach, maintain client relationships, and engage in presentations, meetings, and industry events.

Effective Communication:

• Provide recommendations that consider organizational culture and industry relationships.
• Serve as a liaison among accounts, regions, and project teams.
• Facilitate communication necessary for successful project completion.

Implementations:

• Coordinate resources for successful implementation of new processes and technologies.
• Identify and apply best practices for customer experience and operational efficiency.
• Define and implement best practices across various operational areas related to projects.
• Deliver successful outcomes aligned with project objectives.

Business Analysis:

• Analyze business issues and define solutions to enhance productivity.
• Prepare risk assessments and develop contingency plans for identified risks.
• End-to-end project management operational support:
  - Stepping in operationally to manage client projects when required
  - Operational support to the team to maintain the team workload under control

You should have:

• Strong meeting management operations and account management experience
• Proven track record in team leadership and successfully managing direct reports
• Experience on (a) Life Sciences client(s)
• Demonstrated experience in client management, maintaining strong relationships and achieving financial performance targets.
• Experience in reviewing and improving operational processes and policies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• German and English language proficient in both oral and written communications. Additional languages are a plus.
• Up to 25% travel may be required.
