About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Personal Brand Strategist / Manager to develop and execute a strategy that grows the CEO/Founder’s personal brand.

This role combines personal brand strategy, content execution, creative direction, and audience growth. You’ll take the CEO’s existing and ongoing content, media opportunities, and podcast platform and turn them into engaging content that builds visibility, authority, and business opportunities.

The ideal candidate has proven experience actually growing a personal brand. This is not a role for someone who simply relies on AI to generate posts. You should be able to think strategically, execute independently, understand the CEO’s voice, and connect personal brand growth to the company’s marketing and sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

Personal Brand Strategy & Growth

Develop and execute a personal brand strategy across multiple platforms and content channels.
Identify opportunities to increase the CEO/Founder’s visibility, credibility, and authority.
Create a clear content direction aligned with the CEO’s expertise, personality, and business goals.
Monitor brand growth and identify ways to improve reach, engagement, and audience development.
Proactively recommend new content formats, platforms, partnerships, and growth opportunities.
Take ownership of moving the personal brand forward without requiring constant direction.

Content Repurposing & Execution

Review the CEO’s existing and ongoing content and identify opportunities for repurposing.
Turn long-form content, podcast episodes, interviews, and other media into:

Social media posts
Short-form videos
Reels
Clips
Hooks
Captions
Other engaging content formats

Develop content ideas that are relevant, useful, engaging, and aligned with the CEO’s personal brand.
Write or coordinate content in the CEO’s authentic voice.
Maintain consistency in tone, messaging, quality, and brand positioning.
Ensure content is published or delivered according to the agreed content schedule.

Short-Form Video & Creative Direction

Work closely with video editors to develop short-form content.
Identify strong moments, stories, quotes, and clips from long-form content.
Direct editors on which clips to use and where cuts should be made.
Provide guidance on hooks, pacing, structure, captions, and overall creative direction.
Review edited content and provide clear feedback to ensure it meets brand and quality standards.
Recommend improvements to increase viewer engagement and retention.

CEO Voice & Content Messaging

Develop posts, hooks, captions, scripts, and content concepts in the CEO’s voice.
Understand the CEO’s communication style, opinions, expertise, and positioning.
Ensure content feels authentic rather than generic or AI-generated.
Edit and refine content to maintain clarity, personality, and credibility.
Coordinate with the CEO or relevant team members when additional input or approval is required.

Business Growth & Marketing Alignment

Ensure the personal brand supports the broader goals of the company.
Create content and messaging that contribute to marketing, lead generation, visibility, and sales opportunities.
Identify ways to turn audience attention into meaningful business outcomes.
Recommend content themes and campaigns that support company services, positioning, and growth.
Work with internal teams to align personal brand activity with broader marketing initiatives.

PR & Media Coordination

Coordinate with the existing PR firm responsible for securing media appearances and opportunities.
Help maximize the value of appearances in major publications, podcasts, and other media outlets.
Identify ways to repurpose PR wins, interviews, and media appearances into additional content.
Maintain alignment between PR activity, content strategy, and personal brand positioning.
Support follow-up content before and after media appearances.

Podcast & Platform Growth

Leverage the CEO’s existing platform, including the Top 50 Apple Podcast, to build visibility and authority.
Identify opportunities to repurpose podcast episodes into social content and other marketing assets.
Recommend ways to increase the reach and impact of the podcast.
Connect podcast content with the CEO’s broader personal brand strategy.
Use existing media assets to strengthen credibility, audience engagement, and business growth.

Required Experience & Skills

Proven experience developing and growing a personal brand.
Experience managing a founder, CEO, executive, expert, or public-facing professional’s personal brand.
Hands-on experience creating and executing content across multiple platforms.
Strong understanding of social media content strategy and audience growth.
Experience repurposing long-form content into posts, reels, clips, hooks, and captions.
Experience directing or collaborating with video editors on short-form content.
Strong writing skills and the ability to write in another person’s voice.
Strong creative judgment and understanding of what makes content engaging.
Ability to think strategically while also executing the day-to-day work.
Strong understanding of how personal branding can support marketing, lead generation, and sales.
Excellent organization, communication, and project coordination skills.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and identify opportunities proactively.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality content.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience growing a personal brand from an early stage or significantly increasing its visibility.
Experience working with CEOs, founders, lawyers, business experts, podcasters, or thought leaders.
Experience with podcast content, video podcasts, interviews, or media appearances.
Experience coordinating with PR agencies, content teams, or marketing departments.
Familiarity with major social media platforms and short-form video trends.
Experience using analytics to evaluate content performance and improve strategy.
Experience in the legal, business, professional services, or podcasting industry.

AI & Content Quality Expectations

AI tools may be used to support research, brainstorming, and workflow efficiency.
The candidate must bring their own strategic thinking, creativity, writing ability, and editorial judgment.
Content should not feel generic, repetitive, or entirely AI-generated.
All AI-assisted content must be reviewed, refined, and adapted to the CEO’s voice and brand standards.
The candidate should be able to recognize when AI output is inaccurate, weak, or unsuitable and rewrite it accordingly.

Typical Responsibilities

During a typical week, you may review podcast episodes, interviews, and other existing content to identify strong clips and content ideas. You may write social posts, hooks, captions, and short-form video concepts in the CEO’s voice, then coordinate with video editors to guide the editing process.

You’ll also review content performance, recommend improvements, coordinate with the PR firm, and identify ways to leverage media appearances and the CEO’s podcast platform. Your work will balance long-term personal brand strategy with the practical execution needed to consistently grow visibility, authority, and business opportunities.
